The Lake Highlands Cosmetology Club is hosting a Halloween fashion show on Oct. 22 in the H building.

The interactive fashion show will have 80 students displaying four Halloween themes. Attendees will expect to see everything from zombies to creepy dolls, clowns, and even a “Purge” theme.

The four cosmetology classes involved will be doing their own hair, makeup, and even creating their own costumes with the help of fashion design students.

Brandi James, the head of the cosmetology department, expressed her excitement about the show and is even more excited for next year’s show.

“I’m super excited, it always gets really crazy in here, but it’s good crazy,” James said. “It’s very exciting with everybody’s nerves, but yet they know what they’re doing.”

James continued by saying that the cosmetology crew had been working hard getting ready for the fashion show.

“The costumes are coming together and their hair and makeup is coming together, and it’s something they created and something they can be proud of.”

Students can purchase tickets for cash only for $8 at H-C220 or for $12 at the door.
