The October slate of Netflix

October is almost upon us. Here are the titles Netflix will be adding and removing that you should watch.

What’s coming:

At the top of my list is El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which begins moments after the end of Felina, the finale of Breaking Bad. The story follows Jesse Pinkman after escaping captivity. The film was shot in secret at the end of 2018 and remained unconfirmed until August. It will be released on Oct. 11.

On Oct. 4, the third season of Big Mouth will drop on Netflix. The popular Netflix original is based on show creators Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg’s journey through puberty. Big Mouth has been renewed for three additional seasons.

Trainspotting, a film about a heroin addict’s journey to sobriety, will come to Netflix on Oct. 1. The topic of urban poverty is prevalent within this Danny Boyle film.

Men in Black will drop on Oct. 1. This classic film chronicles two agents of an organization called the Men in Black trying to hide extraterrestrial life from the public. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith star as the two main spies in this sci-fi comedy.

What’s going:

Pineapple Express will be leaving Netflix on Oct. 1. This stoner comedy stars Seth Rogen and James Franco as they flee from corrupt cops and hitmen after one of them witnesses a murder and a joint is traced back to them.

In Bruges is another title you must watch before Oct. 1. This crime film takes place in Bruges, Belgium where two hitmen are hiding out after a botched hit and awaiting orders from their furious boss.

These titles are a must for your October viewing experience. We will be covering the arriving and departing titles on Netflix monthly.
